Doctor was happy that i was back running without any of the problems that i was suffering. He reckons whatever it was must have been transient and will probably never know what it was. Going for a cardiac mri just to mske sure. He is not expecting to find anything but just to give me the full all clear.

Running over 5 miles now without stopping albeit slower than i was but the speed will come back in due course

this is very good news indeed SD. Fingers are crossed for the full all clear from the pending MRI. Build steadily just so your body can react gently to your increasing demands :-) :-)

I have just passed last months total so definitely improving albeit slowly. don't worry SS I am listening to my body and not pushing it too hard. giving myself goals about where I want to be in terms of distance and pace so hopefully won't be too long before I can start contributing again.
