This is not just any running club - this is Helensburgh Amateur Athletics Club - the best club for runners in Argyll. If you want to find somewhere to enjoy running twixt the shores of the Clyde and the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond then Helensburgh AAC is the place for you.

Hosting a fast, flat, mid week Spring 10k, 19th May 2011@ 7.30pm (part of the Polaroid race series) the largest mid-week race in Scotland and a scenic summer 1/2 marathon sponsored by Babcock and supported by Lucozade on Sunday 2 August 2011 @ 9.30am, HAAC is both competitive and sociable.
Training nights are held on Tues 7.30pm & Thurs @ 7.00pm (7.30pm from 7th Oct) from our purpose built clubhouse. Weekend runs, race participation, coaching and social events are all catered for including:
Junior athlete training for track & field, beginners jogging group, intermediate race improvement sessions, elite competition, conditioning & development as well as support for hill running, endurance/ultra and multi terrain events.
Do you want to build on some initial training or return to running, get in shape for that summer, autumn or winter race or just want to keep fit - ask at the club what they can do do help you reach your goal
