The Old Portlians Cycling Club has been active in all branches of cycling sport and leisure for over 85 years. Founded in 1921 as an athletic club for the Old Boys of Portland Road School South Norwood in Croydon, we offered cricket, athletics and football as well as cycling. In the years before the Second World War the non-cycling activities dwindled and by 1940 the club became purely devoted to cycling.
