Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Boingy Paced club colleague round for a target sub 1.40 PB. Finished in 1.38.46, so he was well chuffed! Strong training run for me, and another step towards being at full fitness. I felt like I could have gone round much quicker, which is good news. Organisation a lot better than last year, enjoyed the run. Will be back next year to kick it's ass.

Capricorn Better than I expected after all the reports of baggAge chaos last year. Wind and rain can't be helped , and overall I thought a really good event. Hot drink at the end was much appreciated, but quite an expensive event for what you get.

John Tovell The objective was under 2 hours. The plan was to run a constant 9 min mile pace, and it worked a treat. We were about 20 secs behind the pace at mile 10 and feeling tired. But once over the motorway bridge, there was a long, gentle, mostly downhill stretch as far as mile 12.

Brian1964 Great run in difficult conditions.
Helped along by several generous people who kept my spirits up and/or distracted me!
Slight cold - runny nose. Went out fast for 6 miles to give myself cushion in 2nd half. Just enough. I always find last 3-4 miles a struggle - need longer training runs possibly.

Garfield Lousy weather...cold, windy and damp. My brain wasn't in this at all on the day...and considered my body ill-prepared for it. However, it wasn't quite as painful experience as St Neot's last year though it shouldn't have been a huge surprise as I did that race on 3 weeks of training after no running allowed for 4 weeks earlier.
