About Me
Work hard. Run home! That's principally why I've always run. Used to race the bus home from school and during my teenage years, I would run home after a night shift of shelf stocking at the local(ish) supermarket! Still running now when I'm local to work but not every day. For those other days I ride. Both keep me fit and healthy while at my desk job though and enable me to keep up with those youngsters on the 5-aside pitch!
Did my first proper race (did the Paras 10 in 2010 but didn't max it out) in 2017 and, even though I made a few schoolboy errors, I maxed out this performance beyond my expectations! Given me a taste for it now so we'll see where I go next, child taxiing duties permitting!
