Started running in 2006 and just kept getting injured or colds. Gave up! After a long illness from 08 to 10 i had put on a little padding!! April 2010 decided to start running again but this time with friends. Fantastic, what a difference it makes to run with friends. Must admit we exercise our jaws as much as our legs but have been running for nearly 6 months now, up to 8 miles. I have completed a couple of races and just entered my first half marathon. 2 and half stones lighter and lots fitter, hoping that i can keep it up through the winter without sucumbing to winter colds....Well i had a cold every 4 weeks and although didnt run as much as i wanted i managed my first Half Marathon at Silverstone in March. Summer training is much better - less colds.. 12 months now and still running!!
