I've been running since February 2008, when I started after signing up for a 10k with work colleagues. Since then I've grown to love it and although I have a tendency to break myself with alarming regularity I try to run regularly and enter the occassional race.
After running my first marathon in April 2010 I suffered from ongoing knee problems I've struggled with ever since. In 2012 I had an X-ray, an MRI scan and an Isotope Bone Scan all of which failed to find any obvious problem!
From late 2012 I have limited my running to only two sessions per week but also done a lot of cycling in the gym, which seems to suit me better than three runs per week.
I haven't done very many official races and have run some of my best times on my own in training, so these don't appear as official PBs.
5k - 22:20 (22:32 in an official race)
10k - 46:39 (49:33 in an official race)
HM - 1:49:01 (1:58:26 in an official race)
M - 4:20:58
