Not as piss-poor as I had feared. It was a bit cold but the forecast sleet and snow was never anything more than drizzle, the gusting winds were no worse than chill breezes and the hills were easier than East Lothian. The race was very well marshalled and the roads, while not closed, were nice and quiet. I'll probably be back next year, especially if I'm going to do a spring marathon.
