Kinloss to Lossiemouth Half

Disappointing, 1:23 slower than last year. 52nd/279, 7th/41 MV50

Set off at 6:30'ish pace which felt very comfortable ( as it always does at the start ! ), but pace started dropping off as early as mile 5, then defo from 6. Legs a bit dead, no bounce in the warm-up, so guessed it wasn't going to be a goood one. Perhaps 6 weeks of 70+mpw catching up with me.

First proper run in Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit - not that impressed as a racer - heavier than the NB1400's and didn't really feel the carbon plate helping much. Maybe if legs were fresh it would be different.
