Shakespeare Marathon aborted to half, by organisers. Amazing run for many reasons , the main beng WEATHER- great practice for Snowdonia marathon as thats the conditions i ve seen when watching last 2 years - TORRENTIAL RAIN & WIND, just dont expect it in Stratford. No complaints from me, not only waterlogged course, the river near the finish was close to breaking its bank, and i realy felt for the marshalls . Disappointed but an OK call by Stratford Rotary
happy with my pace- started at marathon pace, and gently eased faster- didnt look at watch to get a goal, the greenway was full of puddles near the end, i decided to run straight through, with Ausi Chris & London Lucy, & passed loads of people in last 3 miles.
