London marathon 2009 - What can I say was another hot day Started well at the Blue start with Kim both feeling good, saw steve.H As we set off Simon joined us said goodbye 2 Kim and ran with Simon till mile 3 when we bumped into Suzy and Kerry quick hello and on my way was going well the support from family, Striders Graham and Brian. .... Mile 17 hamstring went stopped for 2 mins stretching it out and carried on other hamstiring went at mile 23 and was a slower run to the end - To be honest am gutted as i was on for such a better time -However will take the 3 hr 25 and for now feel very happy with it ....

Well done pet - you boys and your hamstrings! Damian had the same problem. Maybe an Autumn marathon? Hope your legs are feeling at least a bit better anyway. See you guys soon. Serena x
