Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon.
I was hoping to go out keeping an eye on the 1.30 pacer and see how it went at 7 minute mile pace but found the first two miles (mostly uphill), a real struggle. From 2 till 6 it was looking okay and I thought a PB might be on but again I struggled up the hill which started just before six miles and I was passed by the 1.40 pacer which was a bit depressing. Half way in 47.17 (not too bad) but then I lost two minutes on the hill from halfway to 8 miles . I never got the pre-hill pace back but I am reasonably happy with the 7.16 last mile.
