Notes & Comments

Snowdonia marathon. Chip time 5:36:45. My first marathon attempt.....battled through torrential rainfall, thunder and lightening and hailstones. And nothing quite prepared me for the Waunfawr pass at 22 miles into the race. An unrelenting 2-3 mile climb followed by a vertical one mile down into Llanberis with track turned into a waterfall and mudbath! What a day, but am chuffed to finish and not be a DNF....:-). Need to HTFU for the next time I do this!!
