Linlithgow 10k. Not a great performance, but the big picture is: recovering from last week's knockout flu; no sleep last night (thanks Archie & Harry); not enough miles in last 3 weeks (holiday & flu). So not the best preparation and the result was my worst time in two years. Disappointed with the situation, but can understand the factors, so not too downhearted. But lots of hard work required to do myself some justice perhaps before Christmas or in the New Year. And it was a hilly course, which hurt!!! Avg hr was up there 176 and a new Max 193!!! So clearly working quite hard.
