Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

So fun to explore the suburbs a little bit! Going out on Haverford ave was actually kinda nice because of the bike lane and generally hitting green lights because it's a main thoroughfare. Once I crossed city ave it briefly went to 4 lanes no shoulder which was scary, but then shoulder came back, but then I saw it going away again and so I tried Remington road, and that was a good road to bike on, 2 lanes but fairly wide and not super traffic-y. Popped out on Montgomery ave, had to look at map again, but found quite a nice road in levering mill road. But then by the time I got to Belmont hills area bike was making weird noise, stopped and deduced it was my gear shifter rubbing up against back tire, which seemed not so good, so just wanted to get home. Went down the steepest hill ever oh my god, I was a little scared at one point. Ended up on Belmont ave, but decided I didn't want to just go straight back at that point bc bike was doing fine and I was pretty close to home so cut down to mlk drive and then back from there. Fun first real exploration on the bike, looking forward to doing more in the future. It's a little anxiety inducing but also so fun. Speed on this was slow, but doesn't matter.
