The Resolution Run

Entrants (6) Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Barry K Very wet and muddy. Not owning any spikes I could only run in road shoes which made the hills interesting to say the least. Unaffiliated 44:10 49:41 50:00 49:41 53.14
CC2 Speedy Goth 43.03 by my watch, BUT the course was only 5.5 miles and my pace was really slow. It was a case of 'the wrong shoes'! Quite enjoyable however, once I gave up the idea of racing it. My poor old road shoes might not forgive me any time soon though. They're a whole new colour now!

I'm not entering the 'actual time' as it will skew my PB results. 'Official' PB remains at 43.20. Notts AC, VEGAN RUNNERS UK, Midland Masters A C 38:37 42:15 44:00
craig_d60 Jarrow & Hebburn AC 36:16 41:31 42:56 61.49
Gasheader Eating to much over xmas - but no holly jolly tomorrow -might get within 3 mins of last year- oh and I havent even though of how the wind and the rain may effect me. ***UPDATE***
What a start to the year official advised anyone with spikes to wear them ran back to car putting on spikes at 10:57 whistle goes and race starts without me lost aprox 60 secs at start and another 15 sces after 5mins due to rushed laces needing retying. Really enjoyed the race kept my footing all way round but lost lot time on hard core (need walshes).my time on stopwatch was 44:23 will soon find my official time.
Official time 45:16 56/100. Swaledale Road Runners 39:47 43:57 45:00 44:23 64.75
Grey Badger First race of 2 in 2hrs. Started steady and let the leading group of 10 go off in first mile or so but caught some of them up on the 2 hill climbs and passed 4 of them by the end of first lap. Had a bit of tooing and froing with a couple of guys but managed to hold my position and finished 6th. Course was reverse of the last few years and a bit longer but i knocked a minute off last years time so well chuffed. It was bl***Y wet and muddy. Northumberland Fell Runners 35:28 35:28 35:28 82.38
Vicki: Graceless Whippet What a cracking race - really enjoyed it, despite the mud, hills & rain. Registered as 5.53m on the garmin, but I didnt get a 10k pb anyways (45 mins exactly) - who could with that hill lol.
