Applecross Lovely day for it and nice course, ground not too bad for poor trail shoe-shod part-timers like me. Didn't catch many people; feel like legs not really strong enough for xc racing, and need a bit more brakes off/brain off on downhills. Also some disappointing negative 'support' from crowd (of the 'you can take her, xxxxx, she's got nothing left' variety). Don't know if this is usual/acceptable but not nice.
