The Primal Hammer Conditions: 6:00am, Sunny 55-66 Deg., 75% Humidity; 6.1mpw Breeze Overall Place: 42 of 547 (top 7.7%) Age Group Place: 3 of 20 (top 15.0%) Splits: 5mi-41:17; 10mi-1:20:41; 13.1mi-1:44:30; 20mi-2:37:07 This run came out of nowhere! After maintaining goal pace for first 4 miles the pace began to creap down and I never looked back! Passed the 3:30 pace group at mile 15 and that was enough motivation to keep pushing the pace through the finish. Huge leg cramp with 30m to go and limped across the finish for an age group award!
