SueW Timed out at Morebattle so didn't finish. By Morebattle, I had covered 42.2 miles instead of the scheduled 38.5 and was 70 minutes behind the check point time. I probably could have finished but rules is rules, and I was clearly too slow! Disappointed but I'll just have to come back again. The course was tough to navigate in places as some way markers were swamped by bracken etc. Definitely a great first running of the event, and with potential for being even better if a few minor lessons learned are taken on board.
