swift8 My first 'proper' race. Set in a beautiful forest, albeit a rather hilly one! Nice and cold on the day. Saw some fellow SWIFTies so stuck with them until they peeled off for the 20km version of the race. Was completely knackered by the end but well chuffed with my time. The pack of woodworking files in the goodie bag was the surreal icing on the cake... NOTE:(16/8/07) Have adjusted time as this race was actually 9.5km so I've extrapolated my 40:41 time to cover the 500m difference - As I've just done for my Gouden 10km. AS long as I keep to the same
