Grey Badger Cheviots Challenge is a run/walk starting at Alwinton in the Coquet Valley and is a circular route taking in some of the fantastic scenery in the Upper Coquet and Cheviot Hills. Route changes every year and usually has about 4000ft of ascent. Event raises money for the Northumberland National Park Search and Rescue Team. Check in at 0700 event starts at 0800. Had a bad spell from 10 miles to 17 but got better on the run in finished first but no prize as it was a challenge and not a race. Northumberland Fell Runners 5:24:00 5:24:00 5:00:00 4:35:00 45.94
