Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

What a horrid race that was! Did not like the course at all, more like a x-country trail type affair than a fell race AND it was 6.7 miles, NOT 5!!! About 3 kms on tarmac, which ain't fun on fell shoes with studs. Besides, they were my new ones and I'd quite like to keep the studs on them for another 400/500 kms thank you!
Tight hamstring as well, which I woke up with, which inhibited me on the downhills. I even gave up a few times, but seeing my direct rival in the league coming up behind me made me jog to the finish in the end. Shan't be doing that one again, league race or not!!!
Running Fish
this felt like hard work, probably cos there was quite a lot of flat running and therefore the pace was reasonably high. once again the welsh perma-drizzle prevailed. think i ran ok, but only 7th so others did better.
