Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker. I understand. No-one likes ads.

But our site costs money to operate, and I need to eat.

Please consider enabling ads for our website, or making a voluntary donation. If you donate, I can turn off the ads for you for a period of time. Average donations are about £3.50 per month, so a tenner would give you three months ad free.

About Me

Done a few bits and pieces over the years nothing to serious though mainly to lose weight.Had a turning point in my life about 3-4years ago where i thought i can go down the pub route or the keep fit way thankfully i chose the latter.Never thought of myself as being competative but soon found i was when i took part in my first competative race in 2007 the edinburgh 10k.Went through the start line and the green mist appeared and of i went,to be honest i haven't looked back since.Have done a few 10ks and half marathons but the one i'm most proud of is organising and running a 45mile run round the bridges(yes it hurt)for a charity my daughter was involved with,it raised a good amount of much needed funds and i exceded all expectations that i had of myself.I must add the freinds i made at the gym helped out and took part for which i'm very grateful. The downside being though was the fact i damaged my hip and abductor muscle to the point where it was touch and go whether i would run again or not,but with the aid of a good physio and determination i'm running again!! Have just teamed up with a group who are with Falkirk Victoria Harriers and are of much the same ability as me and better so hopefully my skills are going to improve, there is a downside though due to work i can't get there every week never the less i'm looking forward to competing next year-watchout

Current Status

Well it's 2011, hope to hell it's better than 2010 from a keeping fit point of veiw
