Started running just under 3 years ago to keep fit, and regularly ran what I thought was 5km, but was devastated to find was a little over 4km!! now its between 7 and 10km. It's now sometime since I wrote this and mileage has increased considerably (for me) and I did my first half marathon in April. Then I got what we think is shin splints and have not run much in last 6 weeks.
