Smooth until mile 17, concentrated on holding pace until mile 20, struggled from then onwards hving to take walk breaks, nothing in the tank, hear rate up. Grace had a bug and was not able to come down to London; woke up with a spliting head ache.
Did not have a problem with the tightness that had plagued me in the weeks leading up to the race.
Wore shoes with only 8 miles in them, ended up with blisters on the inside of my feet between the big toe and the ball of my feet.
