Estimate VO2Max

VO2Max is shorthand for the Maximum Volume of O2 your body can use.

You inhale oxygen. Your heart pumps it to your muscles. They combine it with glycogen and fat to produce the energy they need to propel you. The volume of oxygen you can consume is related to how hard and fast you can go. Accurate measurement requires a sports lab, but you can estimate it from a training run - even if that run is not flat out.
