FLM! Felt good for first 8 or 9 miles @ c7:15 pace then it started to feel just a bit too hard! Went through half at around 1:35 but did not feel that good so came off the gas a bit (7:30 pace) but could not hold this for long and by 20 miles I was absolutely spent. Managed to pick it up (a bit) for last couple of miles and felt quite good at the end! Very confusing this running thing - think the weather may have affected me a bit but if I am honest I carried too much weight (13 stone 8) and probably need more miles per week if I am going to get any where close to 3 hours. On the positive side pleased too have held it together for the last 10k when many others were walking / collapsing! Great day and I will be back next year - aim? 3 hrs 5 mins! Split Summary
