Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Really enjoyed the Black Rock 5 there, even though the sea was past my knees for a section. Hated it last year.

Fitting tribute to a club mate who passed away with a Central AC 1, 2 & 3 along with 1st female.

Good results and a fine tribute

Nice to hear you enjoyed it. Sea past my knees sounds fun in a strange way.

5.4 with running drills and 4x100 metre strides ready for The 3 Lakes Classic on Saturday (14.5 miles mixed terrain and a few hills but great cake at the finish)

Well done @Ally-C

Saturday morning was the Three Lakes Classic coming in at around 14.1 miles. Changed route from previous years with a climb of around 0.7 miles between miles 12 and 13. Pleased with run and hopefully a good sign recent base training is working

The mug has been well used Saturday afternoon

Jono.
Ran 10k, failed miserably on the 3 hills, had to walk up the last 2. Shows how much running ability has been lost BUT the hip seems OK and hopefully the tendinitis will not resurface.
Had another go on the exercise machines in the park, which I'm enjoying, after all they're free (OK they've been paid for by the tax payer, but you know what I mean).
Thumbs up offa age garmin, twice!
Have a great Sunday fetchlings

Nice running everyone

Just over 15 miles of easy off road. Legs felt ok after yesterday’s race. Quite warm out. Tried to keep to lesser used paths as I thought it might be busy out in the nice weathe

@riggys99 It was good fun. First time it's been held at Preston Park in Brighton, previously it was on the seafront at Hove. Mixed opinions about which is better, personally I preferred the seafront, but others felt the new route was an improvement.

Saturday parkrun as I'm nursing the calf before a race on Saturday. Visit to in-laws so ended up doing Dudley, which was really nice. First km round a running track before heading out onto the canal towpath, then into a wooded section going down a sharpish hill, before heading back up the hill and onto the towpath again. The final 600m was on the track, which gave those who weren't trying to avoid injury the opportunity to go for the glory finish. 27 mins, without really pushing at all, and the calf held out.
