Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks Ally C.
Sometimes standing down is the right move too.

Two to report from the weekend:-

Saturday - Uckfield parkrun as part of the club's parkrun grand prix and as a Gold Cup event (given a target time to try to beat). Rather tricky conditions with the rain lashing down and a surprisingly muddy course. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and based on age grading I came 7th and was 30 seconds outside my target time. But, given the conditions, that was one of the better returns.

Sunday - 7 miler alongside the Adur starting in Shoreham and turning at Botolphs. Nice and flat, but with quite a keen wind once we'd turned around. Wife struggled a bit, but got permission to run on so put in some intervals on the way back.

Uckfield is a hard course I’ve done it. Bevendean nearby is even tougher.
