Velociraptor
[When I was working in A&E, I picked up the registration card of a child whose first name was written as "N/A". I thought the parents must have decided to lumber their offspring with the affectation of having no first name, and was relieved to discover that it was called Nia.]

I am not at all concerned that I'm eating way too much high kcal food trying to slow down weight loss.
(And apologies to those struggling to lose weight)

What exactly are you trying to achieve by bringing that child bouldering. If it's scaring him, breaking his spirit and making him hate climbing then well done. If you were hoping he would have fun, get some exercise and develop a love of this fantastic activity, may I suggest you let him explore the walls, do what he is comfortable with and give him some positive feedback for all the effort he is putting in.
[I didn't say this but I made my point by giving the poor kid some praise and showing some enthusiasm]

A pitbull? Lovely, but with five or six kids, most of whom are under 5, I'm really not sure that was advisable for your first dog.

Your great-grandchild lives about 600 miles away. There is little point in putting his name down for the local school.

We're having a child's birthday party this afternoon. It isn't a good idea to go out to a very quiet event for mature adults. Sorry.

Mushrooms are a great idea if it's cake that's being served.
You are right to think that most kitchen equipment won't fit into the standard-size hole in your kitchen.

I am so lucky to have such a laid back, easy going, sociable child who can deal with pretty much anything life can throw at him. I'm totally nailing this parenting sh*t.
