I use a sandwich toaster and am very happy with the results. There is no proper way. |

Grilled cheese sandwich or toasted sandwich can be made in a pan but a cheese toastie has to be done in breville or similar

(I only like the pan because I can make fat sandwiches with weird shaped bread; traditional English style is best under the grill or in the wide slot of the dualit)
