Attempted to tackle the mountain of smalll change I have last night.
Got some of the those little cash bags from the bank, so managed to bag up 20 quids worth of 5p shrapnel. Will pay it into my bank later.
Next is the pennies......:)

A tip for you SCP: some banks have machines you can pour mixed coins into. My Natwest branch does, it's brilliant. Though I usually break it as I put so much in. Really handy though!

And funnily enough I sorted out Change Mountain the other day, ds2's school was collecting coins so I gave him £20 of assorted stuff, then sorted the Euros and foreign currency into a bag to give to the bank for charity and stuffed the rest into a bag to feed the machine. There's lots more upstairs but I CBA.

I've never collected small change, I just keep it in my purse and spend it. I am that annoying woman in front of you in the checkout queue counting up coins to try to hand over the exact amount.

I hate having loads of coinage in my wallet. I have a change pot and last year had £200, happy days, bought some new curtains for the house.

Binks collects coins. I am like V'Rap...
Currently trying to start decluttering (the future) babies' room. Made easier by being able to pack most of my clothes into those vac-bags for over a year...
I cleared out the sheets the other day. They're in the garage ready to go to charity...although I like the idea of making crib bedding out of some of them

Babies bring a whole new world of clutter in their wake
I was impressed at how many things I could have bought for my babies and didn't need. From cotton buds and talcum powder to *things* that held them vertical instead of letting them roll around on the floor and a choice of containers for them to sleep in.

This week I'll be putting the 15 year old computer, and the second hand xbox drum kit that Stephen chewed through the wire of, into the boot of the car to take to the recycling centre.
