Actually, that's a question. We seem to have a plethora of crappy old laptops and computers that need to be disposed of, but how do you do so safely so that your hard drive is either clean/empty or removed and destroyed?

I guess you could take the hard drive out and hit it repeatedly with a hammer. If you're not sure where to look for the hard drive, I could have a look for you.
V'Rap - I contemplated moving the contents of the house *into* the computer, as a way of making more space.

I always have a load of small change after a night out, it seems.
Generally it all goes into a pint glass, but thats overflowing.
Oh and I could do with getting rid of my ageing PC, which I don't use anymore.

Or even therapy Night-Owl?
I've also got one of those money box things that counts the coins going in. There's about £40 in there.
If I sorted out the coin hoarding issue, I could do some nice spending....:)

Helegant
Today I made three more crib sheets (one more to go), which I have designed to be elongated pillowcases so that there is no slippage. Sproglet came round and I filled the back of her car with the cot and crib mattresses and some sheets. We then went on a shopping trip for blackout fabric and I found some curtain lining tape in my bits-box, stitched it to the fabric and sent her home with a pair of my fabric shears and instructions on how to fit the linings. She will have to cut them to the correct length. I count all this as decluttering because the curtain header has been sitting in my bits-box, and now it isn't, and the bonus is that it has done something useful.
