Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.
The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Alness parkrun- pleased with my running as felt fine and tomorrow I’ll get to go slower 😊. Ran out to the end of the pier rather than having to swim.
But I won’t get a time or be counted as a parkrun as someone collapsed (didn’t see it but saw the ambulance and they were hoping the defib got to them in time). Really hope they are all right - I presume it was a parkrunner although may have been someone out walking. Has shaken me a little tbh.

Well done Idris 👏
That looks interesting!
😳. Hope they(and you) are OK.
Sounds awful! Hope the collapsed parkrunner and you are ok.
Well done
Great pacing, well done and I hope you have recovered from the earlier worry, I also hope all has ended up well for the person who collapsed.
Thank you everyone. I feel OK now and continue to hope that the person who collapsed is OK.
Just read full notes. Not what you expect to happen at parkrun! I hope the casualty is OK.
