Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mostly I have done just over distance required this week apart from Tuesday when I fancied a longer off road run so did 7 miles instead of 6k

Aww that sucks Em! Hope you feel better soon and all the best for the interview.

Now we are up to the bigger distances I've switched my thinking back to miles. I'm not sure why but 5.6 miles feels much more manageable than 9 km. Psychology is a very strange thing - at least mine is!

Not quite such a late log today as I'm really tired - Thursday is Pilates day so I had a 1-hour reformer class followed by a 1-hour barre class, then did 5.3 miles.

Yikes, Ness - the only way I'd ever run at 05:00 is if I approached it from the backside and stayed up all night!

Sorry to see we've lost BarefootEm from this merry band - hope you feel better soon.

Cheekys Dad - that's exactly why I ALWAYS run in miles... 26.2 is a far more palatable number than 42...

I think my problem stems from being in the middle (ish) of doing 10k a day for 10 days so 1-7 Sept I ran 10k (+) each day so I'm all 10k'd out by now....

Good luck today Em 🍀

Just managed to fit in the full distance before work this morning. Hopefully I’ll be a bit more organised tomorrow morning and get out of the door in time to do 10!

I'm going out this afternoon...I won't leave it as late as yesterday as I started in daylight but ended up finishing off in the dark! It went dark before I thought it would!

Double session for me today - the garage where my car is being serviced/MOT'd is exactly 3 miles away, so I ran home this morning after I'd dropped it off. It's an easier run back to collect it as it's all downhill, but we'll see what mood I'm in (the car is 10 years old, so MOTs can be a bit of a hurdle).

Well done everyone!
I've been firming up my plans to do this in December, I've even added the sessions to my FE Plan:

I'm afraid I've wimped out today 6.5km done but my head as much as my legs said no. I was in two minds whether to go at all, and this challenge made me. I really enjoyed what I did run, to the far end of the beach at low tide, so that's a positive effect even if I've missed out on the distance.
