Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I put in 10k on the cross-trainer in the gym here in Nuuk but I imagined I was crosscountry skiing across the ice cap. That's gotta be worth a zone. Even if I don't own skis.

I agree, it's worth a zone.

Shame I've long claimed all zones in Nuuk by actually running around them :/

Then it counts towards preserving your ownership.

[I didn't even map it, tbh. I've garmining my walking around though because I've been on the injury bench for months and cannot run. Walking is genuinely "exercise" for me these days as it is kind of fast and part of my physio/recovery plan.]

I think walking when you can't run, or when it's part of recovery, or exploring somewhere on holiday is fair :)

I don't mind logging walking and cycling when they are in already explored zones, but I will only explore new zones when running.

Are we seriously discussing that Zwift rides shouldn't count in this game - and by extension Fetchpoint? Zwift is about the only thing that has kept me in any form of physical activity for the past year and FE is my 'go to' log of any training I do.

I don't want to stop logging my training here just because someone has got the fucking hump about a game that means nothing.

I don't think you should stop logging your training on Fetch, Ted. I don't think anyone was suggesting that?

I think Fetch was asked to look at ways that Zwift files could be excluded from this particular game (and yes, probably Fetchpoint in that case). But if Zwift lets people log a ride, say, along a TdF stage, without actually going there, I don't see why that should count in Conquercise.

Easy there Ted :-) All that's happened is that I'd like to exclude Zwift GPS files from the games. No talk of people not being allowed to log stuff.
