Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Seeking advice on the best way to do this. I've tried armbands and waistpacks in the past but they were bargain basement cheapies so doubtless there's better out there. I've seen adverts for vest-type holders as well. I've got a couple of hydration vests but the pockets aren't big enough. Phone is a Xiaomi.

Quick access would be ideal. I got bitten by a dog this morning and it would have been good to take a photo of it and its owner.

Though I’ve also just used my headtorch bag and carried in my hand.

I have two shorts from decathlon that have pockets around the waist, front one is big enough for the phone to sit in and I just use a waterproof case to protect it.

I have Yelpro shorts that have pockets on both thighs. Plenty of room for a phone.

I've been using the Salomon Pulse belt for years, super comfy against the skin and no bounce or movement from it.

I use a buff wrapped around my wrist. Tuck my phone in it. Can cover phone if it starts to rain.

But it's not my actual phone. It's an old phone I use as a camera for action shots.

Never take my phone running. Just thought the buff solution might help

I've got running legwear with thigh pockets big enough for my 'phone, and in winter I put it in the pocket of my hi-viz gilet.
