Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I wear a baselayer which has a thigh pocket for a phone. Incredibly comfortable and as it's pressed in against your leg there's no bouncing around.

Something like this: startfitness.co.uk

I came to see if anyone said "I don't run with a phone"! Only Night-owl, and I am same as them. Usually no phone taken, unless going in hills or far away, then it's in bum bag with bivvy bag / blanket, extra layers, whistle, compass etc! :-) G

Flipbelt for me. Races, normal runs, etc, I'd never know the phone was there when it's whizzed around into the small of my back. It does depend on the right size flipbelt being bought.

Thigh pocket or in a pocket of a hydration vest (if a longer run). Never take it out on speed sessions although i prefer having it for safety reasons - pretty secluded and dark around here

I often don't run with a 'phone. I almost never did until adding the tracker on Garmin Connect, but there are times when it's useful for eL Bee! to be able to know where I am.

The 'phone doesn't slide around in my pocket, but I have a couple of pairs of leggings that won't stay up when there's a 'phone in the thigh pocket though they're fine without.

About This Thread

Maintained by Muttley
Seeking advice on the best way to do this. I've tried armbands and waistpacks in the past but they were bargain basement cheapies so doubtless there's better out there. I've seen adverts for vest-type holders as well. I've got a couple of hydration vests but the pockets aren't big enough. Phone is a Xiaomi.

Quick access would be ideal. I got bitten by a dog this morning and it would have been good to take a photo of it and its owner.
