Always thought circumnavigating the buying/selling 'process' was very much on the edge of the ethics of the game. As per the discussion above, forgetting to sell has consequences. Should this is automated and by-passed it effectively renders the game meaningless IMO. I didn't make the rules (and Fergus was at least open about doing this) but it does make me wonder why I bothered wasting so many wasted hours ploughing my way through all the 'clicks'. |

In the early days when the page refreshed after each purchase or sale it was more beneficial to use a script, but now it is pretty easy to buy and sell. I think it is a bit against the spirit, but then again it’s only a game ![]() |

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
After reading the comments I have now changed my mind from not bothered to the second option.

I'm fine with it. In my situation now, I just have to buy everyone every morning, and sell everyone ever night. Buying everyone is frustrating because it takes ages, I'd like there to be a "Buy all runners" button in the same vein as the "Sell all runners" button. If I knew how to automate this, I probably would. |

I'd quite like tick boxes to you can select multiple runners to buy in one transaction. With a "tick all" option for those wanting to buy the lot

If I knew how to automate this, I probably would. I'm in the same situation but, to my mind at least, the only reason to continue playing once one can buy all runners is to get the 500,000 or 1,000,000 badge. Yes it's going top take time, effort, and be a bit dull, to say nothing of the frustration when I forget to sell, but therein lies the reward. If I could just automate the process why would I bother? To make the process substantially easier might be great for me personally but it would devalue the effort of those who have (and doubtless will) get there before me. Just my opinion |

Is there a half way house where I make a 'Buy All Runners' button available to anyone who has enough budget to buy everyone?

Obviously it should go with the majority view but (though personally it would save me a lot of time & effort) I’d say not, for the reason Weath gives above. If those who have put in way more hours that they won’t ever get back than me think it’s okay then that’s progress or evolution or summat

I'd love a Buy All Runners button for personal convenience, but also think there probably shouldn't be one.
