Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

4.3 miles. Nice fast finish tempo run. Last hard run before Mondays Cleethorpes New Years Day 10k. Legs felt good and last 1.8 miles was quicker than expected for RPE.

8pm Brilliant white moonlight guided my way but couldn't do anything about the 30+ mph westerlies. At the end of the prom, I opted for a couple of 'out 'n' backs' beside the Marina. A brief foray onto the beach made the sand a non-starter, so I sought out the drier trails inland.

Nice running people
Nice out and back mainly along the Chesterfield canal. Took this years mileage to 2001 miles. Only second time I have got over 2000. Will be my second highest year.

Today was lethal for driving or walking: quite a depth of snow melted slightly yesterday and refroze to about -5C this morning. However, with spikes and a forefoot landing it was feasible to run on.

I managed about 12.5 km in 1h50 on a mix of trails and streets. This path is one of the easier bits that was flat frozen slush with a sprinkle of frost.
