Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fridays run

Scenic route to father in laws - 8 miles mainly off road. Lovely run mainly in zone 2.

15 minutes or so at father in laws then 1 mile run back through the village home. Mainly z1

Just 10k today, first since Sundays Half and felt tough going. However on reflection. I was running about 20 seconds a mile quicker than of late so perhaps was better than it felt.

I did an easy steady 10 miles this morning with a recce of the top section of tomorrow's mtb race. Concerned I may be faster running it :-)

Nice running people and biking gobi :)
I did a race today as the normal weekly LR.

Ok, so a bit harder the first 27km than I planned, but it was also a lot more hills, and pretty grimy route with mud and water than anticipated. So about 10 bpm higher than planned, but all in all ok, and the plan was easy 27km and last 5km in MP.
And that worked out fine too, it was fun to race a bit in the end. :)

Jono.
Decided to revist Bidston Hill this morning, not run this route for a while. Funny how you can get stuck in a routine.

Thoroughly enjoyed the route through Birkenhead Park, past the water tank, the more we'll heeled houses and back towards the docks and home.

7 miles - decent pace.

Biddy Hill was a Friday night staple for club runs way back when....until there wasn't enough daylight.

A very nice 6 miler. Third fastest of five I’ve ran on this route and HR 9 bpm lower than all of them. 😁
