If you order 100, you can get an embroidered badge with overlocked edge for around £1.50 per item. I suspect there aren't many Fetch badges that would attract 100 orders, sadly! [Sorry, I know this is OT, but I meant my original post to be on the badges thread.]

The ones I looked at had a minimum order quantity of 100. They would probably be prepared to make a smaller number, but their total price per design would probably not reduce by much, as I assume they have a fixed charge for taking a jpeg (?) file and putting it on the system ready for a weaving/embroidering/whatever machine to copy the pattern. The actual materials cost can't be much. And they'll want to make a profit on each order. So the price per unit would rocket. I'll raise the subject over on the Unlockable Badges thread.
