New to this forum - I signed up for Fetchpoint a couple of weeks ago because it kept getting mentions on the WSW thread and I thought I'd come and see what it was all about.
Please excuse me not reading all the previous, but I have two questions:
1. If I squish bugs in my circle but don't run beyond the edge of the circle, they don't get squished - is that the case?
2. How come some fetchies on the leaderboard have ... no points for squishing bugs, no bug penalties and no bonus points for bug-free days? I already have, respectively 60, -168 and 400 points for these and I can't see how it is possible to get zero in all three of these categories. (Mind you, I'm happy with my net positive bug score, for as long as it lasts!)

1. Yes, squishing is dragging them out of the circle, basically.
2. Glitch for people who log training via Garmin or TomTom, but never log into the site. They are skipped in the bug generating job overnight, but still score for everything else, as that doesn't look at last login.

Good luck for the game, Synge. It can be lots of fun. You'll probably encounter elements that I won't... such as traffic lights.
1. I believe if you don't move the bug out of the circle but went over its position, then it will move to a point closest to the circle. Took me a while to work out I had to get it past the circle at some point. Also, you don't have to get the bug first, you can go over the bug position after going outside the circle (I have confirmed this many times! ).

Bugs haven't moved since the game was re-vamped a while back. Yes, you can run over the bug after having been outside the circle.

I'm going to incur lots of penalties in my race tomorrow . There are 2 sets of traffic lights that we have to run through. Oh well

Thanks StuH, good to have the correct current methodology. Have I been playing it that long, or do I just misremember? (Probably been playing since June 2018, so probably I misremember.)
