flyingfinn Sep 2021 6:07pm, 3 Sep 2021 2,839 posts	Quote Pin flyingfinn RH a properly insulated camper is a lot warmer than a tent, particularly if the pop-up is down (that is essentially a tent anyway) and unless I've got wet and cold whilst out I rarely use my heater in what I would consider normal camping months (mid-April to late September). But I use my van 12 months a year and often park-up in some fairly exposed and high locations. In the December with everything frozen outside my heater is a must. I never have it on overnight but I can flick it on with an out stretched arm from my sleeping bag and 5-10 minutes is enough to make actually getting up a lot more pleasant at 5 or 6 o'clock on a winter's morning before a race start!
