Went as often as I could when I worked in Cornwall (30-odd years ago now). I saw dolphins there once, totally distracted from the play we were supposed to be watching.

Top tip is to consider camping at Britannia Inn if you’re ever down this way. 2-3 miles from the venue, free to camp with toilets available, and a decent breakfast the next morning There is some road noise but we slept well.
