Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fab photos Fleecy.

My newt today is that I am going to make some Ras-el-Hanout spice mkix from scratch rather than buy it already mixed.

That's very impressive Mandymoo - I wouldn't know where to start with that!

I’ve been meaning to get going with this book for a while. This thread’s given me the arse kick I needed to get going.

Today we’re going to try a new white bean & cabbage stew.

I newly noticed some snowdrops in the garden. They weren’t where I was expecting them to be!

I like the sound of this, everything is a little bit samey at the moment and it's really starting to get to me. This could be just what I need. Started today with a little treasure hunt run that a local club have organised. I've never really 'got' stopping to take photos when running, but I really enjoyed it, who'd have thought?

Actually, I'm planning to start a new book today. It was lent to me by my daughter, which is unusual.

Some excellent Newts already and a fair few new Jinglers. All good!

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
