Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Defo not the same for everyone as OH has the spare room as his office and the kids have a large room each. I was stopped from exercising in the living room, where there is space, for fear I might damage the new floor. Grrr... again. But only solution would be chucking OH out of his office. Although we have talked about a garden office.

And OH has very low mess tolerance and tends to tidy my things which result in them being lost for ever. E.g. running gloves and neoprene booties and LittleD's milk teeth and first lock of hair.

That's a lovely space, JW.

My today newt is having a cup of coffee. I don't like coffee but love the smell of it. Every morning, I make Earl Grey tea for me and a big pot of fresh ground coffee for Mr GM. It smells so good. So today, I had cup of coffee for the first time in at least 2 years, probably 3 or 4 years. It was drinkable but I won't be buying a fancy espresso making coffee machine after all :)

That makes it all the more important that you have your own space, Linds. Controlled untidiness is a precious personal right.

Early contender for best newt of the day there, I think, JW.

So far I've tried a new kind of plant based 'shoarma' for lunch (very nice! Great texture and cooks nicely).

I'm thinking of starting a 30 day Adriene this eve, as well. If I make it to more than about 8 days straight that'll be OK nice newt for closer to the end of the month.

Some lovely newt here already. Mine is quite mundane compared. I wrapped up a small amount of bird food before I went out for my run, took it and paused (briefly) at a local park to feed the ducks on the lake (Inspired by beanie). It was lovely.

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
