The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Some changes to explain:

1) zones can now have as many photos as you like.
2) you can attach a photo to any zone that you've explored.
3) images will either have:
a) a 'Show on Map' button, with an associated camera icon in the zone
b) a 'Set Location' button, which takes you to the picture in the gallery, where you can pinpoint it on the map

Also, when uploading images here: fetcheveryone.com/gallery-upload.php there's a new tickbox to include the image location, which is ticked by default.

Longer term, I figure this could prove useful for adding pictures to routes e.g. for highlighting key navigational points or nice views.

Try not to break it :-)

Think I’ve added ten photos to differ zones… do I need to tag the exact location to the map to trigger a badge? 😀
