Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

In positive news, she was up and away just after 5 this morning and seems to be covering slightly more distance in each approx 10-minute bite than she was in the latter part of yesterday. :-)

Time will tell as to whether or not her approach is viable. Tend to agree with Synge that it looks like she is moving quicker this morning, pace so far suggests about a 15 hour day (using the highly accurate finger span measurement technique ;-)) if she can maintain it for the day.

It's interesting to note that her running honours list on her website includes nothing over 90km and there are no references to ever having done any multi-day events, so this looks like completely new territory for her. So far she appears to have been a relative sprinter in ultra terms and that this is her first venture into really long stuff.

Her tracker is currently showing the bed symbol, and last tracked at 13:21 - does that mean she's been reading the board here and decided to have an early afternoon nap ?

Seems to be moving again now. Around a 30 min stop earlier. About 30 miles still to do today. So another 6 or 7 hours at today's average pace and a 17 hour day?

RH beat me to it whilst I was measuring distances on Google maps. Total length today is about 73 miles and it is about 32 miles to go from her current position to Abram near Wigan where the day's end is marked. So she would appear to be heading for a 9-10pm finish tonight.

This is where she pulled in. I thought I'd see if it was a good refreshment stop. Perhaps she's looking for new wheels!
