Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mac, get the movement correct and you won't have to worry about the science. That way it eliminates your questions :) Happy days.

Mac,

"Jon, yes, it is physics, but you have to explain formulae for them to make sense. Is your argument that acceleration makes force? What makes acceleration?"

Actually this is a nice question. From Pose theory, our body rotates forward around our foot on the ground, so gravity (through gravity torque i.e angular rotation) is providing the acceleration of our bodyweight. The pull then releases the body so our mass is then accelerating from the gravity torque. As we land this is transformed into ground reaction force representative of our mass and acceleration.

*the pull = when we pull our foot from the ground.

Boab - I think I have a greater mass than you, dear.
Mac - is your navel so awful? I *am* sorry.

HADD has the same problem, in that his biology stinks.

Guys, I know majority of people don't give a damn about this stuff, but every now and again someone is interested in Pose but has a requirement for them to understand the theory before they can begin to accept the method. That is all Mac is doing really.

so force (gravity) makes accleration? We agree I think. Anyway, that's it for me, folks, sorry to have interrupted the thread.

Mac, keep reading. Look at some of the method (drills etc) too. or join in on PoseTech forum.

It does work well, but takes some work to do well. Learning it is a nice challenge to take on :)
